Common Corporate Catering Questions
When you start planning your catering for a corporate event, it usually comes with a mix of questions, especially around things like menus and pricing. Then you also need to consider how things will actually work on the day, timings, setup, staffing and making sure that everything runs as it should.
We’ve pulled together the questions we’re asked most often below. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, just get in touch and we’ll talk it through.
Can you send me a menu with prices?
Yes, just send us a quick enquiry and we’ll forward over our corporate catering menu with pricing.
It gives you a good starting point to see what we offer, and from there we can adjust things depending on your event, numbers and what you have in mind. Once we have a few details, we’ll be able to put together something more tailored.
Can you cater themed events?
Yes, and they’re always great to be part of.
Menus, presentation and service can all be adapted to suit the theme, whether that’s something subtle or more detailed. Recently, we catered for hundreds of guests at the Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards, which was themed around The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
What is the booking process?
It starts with a quick conversation with our corporate coordinator.
We’ll talk through your event, share menu options and put together a quotation based on your requirements. Once you’re happy to go ahead, a 25% non-refundable deposit of your final quotation is required to confirm your booking.
The remaining balance will then be due before the event date. From there, we handle the planning so everything is in place ahead of the day.
What areas do you cover?
We travel nationwide for corporate catering.
We’re regularly working across different locations and have recently been catering for events in Manchester, the Cotswolds and London, as well as closer to home.
If you have a location in mind, just let us know and we’ll talk you through availability and any travel considerations.
How many people can you cater for?
We cater for everything from smaller private gatherings through to large-scale events.
That could be a team lunch for a handful of people or a much bigger setup for 400+ guests, similar to what we’ve delivered at awards events and corporate functions.
Once we know your numbers, we’ll guide you on what works best.
Do you offer tastings?
Yes, tastings can be arranged depending on the type of event.
They take place at our restaurant, Paisley at 106, 106 Minster Road, Stourport-on-Severn, and give you a chance to try the food and get a better feel for what we’ll be serving.
Do you do site visits?
Yes, where it’s needed.
For larger or more complex events, a site visit helps us understand the space, access and setup so everything runs smoothly on the day without any surprises.
Will you provide waiting staff?
Yes, we can provide experienced staff to serve food and drinks and manage service throughout the event.
We’ll recommend the right level of staffing based on your setup so everything feels well run without being overdone.
Can you cater for dietary requirements and allergies?
Yes, and these are planned in from the start.
We cater for a wide range of dietary requirements and allergies, making sure those dishes are properly considered and sit alongside the rest of the menu.
Are you responsible for rubbish removal?
We will dispose of rubbish on site where possible.
If this isn’t available at your venue, we can arrange removal, which may incur an additional charge depending on the setup.
How long have you been catering for?
We’ve been catering since 2011, working across corporate events, private functions and larger productions.
Over that time, we’ve built a team that knows how to deliver consistently, whether it’s a straightforward lunch or a larger-scale event with multiple moving parts.
Do you offer corporate lunches?
Yes, and they’re a big part of what we do.
This can include individually boxed lunches, sharing platters, buffets or something more structured depending on your space and how you want the food served.
Do you offer healthy options or menus?
Yes, we regularly put together menus built around fresh, balanced ingredients.
This might include lighter lunch options, salads, lean proteins and dishes designed to keep people energised and focused throughout the day.
What makes you different?
A lot of it comes down to the team behind it.
Our chefs have travelled and worked in kitchens all over the world, picking up different techniques, flavours and ways of cooking along the way. That experience shows up in the food, giving it a bit more depth and making it something guests actually talk about, not just something that gets eaten and forgotten.
We’re also not a small, stretched team. There’s a full office team behind the scenes covering private events, corporate and weddings, which means you’ll have a dedicated coordinator looking after your event properly.
At the same time, we keep things relaxed. We’re easy to work with, we get to know our clients and we like to build relationships that last beyond just one event.
A Bit About Us…
Paisley Flour was founded in 2011, but the story started well before that.
Emma began her culinary journey in 2001 and qualified as a chef in 2003, building experience across different kitchens and environments before launching the business.
Since then, we’ve worked across a wide mix of corporate events, from smaller team gatherings through to large-scale productions. That includes brands such as Samsung, Dr Martens, The Body Shop, Boots and National Geographic, as well as backstage catering for Tom Jones, Olly Murs, Simply Red and Paloma Faith.
We’ve also partnered with Worcestershire County Cricket Club, delivering match day hospitality catering, which brings its own pace and level of detail.
It’s given us a good understanding of how to deliver catering in different environments, without things becoming overcomplicated.
