An Overview of the Event

We were invited to create a bespoke luxury dining experience for the Worcestershire County Cricket Club ‘Around the World’ Wine Tasting, an exclusive evening designed for club members and sponsors.

The event paired wines sourced from across the globe with carefully crafted canapé courses, each designed to complement the flavour profile of the wine it accompanied.

Working alongside Juckes of Worcester, who curated the wine selection, our team developed a menu that travelled through multiple countries and culinary influences, creating a tasting journey for guests to experience throughout the evening.

Approximately 75 guests attended the event, enjoying a relaxed but elevated hospitality experience within the Worcestershire County Cricket Club setting.

The Brief

Each wine served during the evening needed a canapé designed specifically to complement it. The wines represented different countries and regions, so the food had to reflect the same global journey while still maintaining the refined style Paisley is known for.

The result was a multi-course canapé tasting experience where every bite was paired to enhance the wine being introduced.

Presentation also played a key role. Some dishes were served on themed platters to reinforce the event setting, including one course presented on a cricket bat, a subtle nod to the venue and its heritage.

Paisley founder Emma Passey also introduced each canapé to the room, sharing insight into the inspiration behind the dish and how its flavours complemented the wine being served.

This added a personal and interactive element to the evening, allowing guests to fully appreciate the pairing experience.
